Ok, so I'm sitting at a red light this morning. My truck is a 4wd 2 ton pick up with 21" rims, so it sits pretty tall. Anyway, this chic drives up beside me. She's blonde, with Christian Dior sunshades on and she looks over at me and kind of smiles. Of course, I've got a great view down into her truck. She looks pretty hot.

But then I notice that she is wearing courdoroy pants. I'm like, wtf? So now I think that she is poor. Added to the fact that she's driving a Ford Focus.

So, my question is whether courdoroy pants made her look poor to me or if it was the old Ford Focus that did it?

And, it also made me wonder if a chic that wears courdoroy pants would put out easier than a girl that wouldn't wear them?

I think corduroy makes her have no style but not poor. The Focus makes her poor. I bet she got it new and thought she was cool for having a new car. Does it make me a snob that I laugh at people in KIAs, Focus, Grand AMs, Neon's, etc because they think they have a nice car but everyone else thinks they are poor?

I don't think that the pants designers have really given courdoroy a fair shot. They always make them baggie and weird colors. I think this girl had on a pair that were Hunter Green.

But I think it might have been the Ford Focus that ruined the experience.

I bought my son a pair of brown cords for his Christmas outfit. He hasn't worn them since. My grandmother bought him some for Christmas. They're too big. I bet he doesn't wear them either. Each pair cost more than any pair of pants I've ever bought him.

I paid over $100 for courdoroy pants at Bannana Republic last month and I don't feel poor.

I laugh at people driving those new Daewoo's.Reminds me of those Geo Metro's that used to be around.I'd buy a 2 or 3 year old Toyota before I went that route.
