It's not the not being turned on that makes you appear homophobic, it is comments like this:

"I fast forward through porno's when its two guys and a girl because it seems gay"

Where the reason you do something is not because it turns you on or doesn't turn you on, but is instead because the thing appears to you to be gay.

Avoiding a situation because in your head it is gay is what brings on the appearance of homophobia.
