Had FABULOUS box seats, at $525 a seat (no, I didn't pay) and got to watch Dmitry Tursunov take down Fernando Gonzales (dunno how that guy beat Agassi) and it was a so-so match but when Gonzales got broken in the second, he smashed his racquet into about twelve pieces.
I never do that shit but I love seeing it. He got a warning, big deal.
The highlight was seeing the Bryan brothers play. They're southern California boys ranked #1 in the world and they've won every major. Friggin' awesome. I use their racquet, the NCode. They did their famous in-the-air chest butt.
Random celebs wandered by. James Spader (he's got a belly, hehe) sat with some whore on one side and William Shatner on the other.
Here's my ticket and the Bryan brothers.

He had a lot of hair and a little belly and he sat there grinning the whole time. There was also this old t.v. personality from The Price Is Right, Monty Hall. He was there.

He kissed me on New Years Eve a few years ago while I was waiting for the bathroom at Spago.

$525 to see the Bryan's and a bunch of hundy ranked foreigners is a fucking rip off.

Some sort of corporate box seats. I didn't pay a dime. It was awesome. You would have loved it, Dog, as a tennis player. (Plus, Gonzales if like #17 and the other guy even higher, not hundys,)

It was jealousy talking. I love watching Tennis live. Hate it on TV though.

I hear you. People are all the time asking what I thought of this match or that one. But I hate watching matches on t.v. Being there is a different story.
Couple of years back I was at the Pacific Lite, I think it was, and got to sit ON the court watching Buphati and Paes, they were #1 in the world team before the Bryans. As a doubles specialist it was a real treat for me. I had to go pee but no way was I getting out of my seat cause when you leave they make you wait three games on the crossover to get back to your seat.
So I happily suffered.

Do none of you people read? For the 3rd time, I didn't pay for the ticket. It was a gift. No wine and cheese were given, just the seat.
How come none of you losers ever has a tennis question? Doe it have to be basketball/football ALL the time around here?

You won the first set 6-4.
Its 3-3 in the 2nd, your service game.
It's Ad your opponent, you serve, they weak return and your next shot forces them left, out behind the baseline.
Where do you position yourself for the return, and why?

I never said you paid that much for the ticket, I read your post. I was ripping on the wine and cheese crowd.
Tennis would be cool for us if the chicks played in g-strings and pasties.

Easy! I'm coming in to hit the winning volley to the ad corner to get back to deuce. Why? It's obvious. I will take the net and fuck your shit up.
Next?

It would depend on the skill level of my opponent, but most likely I would position myself mid court, at the net, expecting him to try to go cross court. A serious player could possibly hit the low percentage shot down the line, but I would take my chances at the net.

The skill level of my opponent? Who cares? Is this a picnic? I'm there to win, yo. And if my opponent throws back a weak return I'm all over it. Next?
