If you think folks are just piling on yesterday's stuff you're getting caught up in the moment and missing the bigger point. If the recent drama causes a mod/admin to rethink before making a harsh decision, the energy put in to this exchange will be recouped ten fold. Because, it'll be less likely we'll need to do it again.

Don't get pissed at Rock or G$D. Those guys are the two we should be grateful for.

WTF is going thru some huge growing pains right now, and will be a way better board for it in the future. But, let the nic deletions continue and I'm sure the majority of the IT'ers will walk away.
