Does "Mendicino, CA" have anything to do with the song Willie Nelson sings about "Mendicino County line"?

Grumpy Old Men was filmed a couple blocks away from our last house. We drove to Wabasha to see where they filmed the movie. We went to the movies bait shop for lunch and asked where it was filmed. The lake and church scenes were the only things filmed in Wabash. The neighborhood was near Lake Phalen in St Paul. The in house scenes were done at Paisley Park Studios (Prince's Place).

The fact that you know anything at all about the above movie leads me to believe that maybe your town is where they filmed "The Birdcage".

One of the best movies of all time was filmed in your toilet of a state. Just say 'Waterboy' this thread is complete.
