Wahoo keeps changing his mind about what he wants for Xmas. He wants a camcorder now, and I'm completely illiterate when it comes to electronics. Shocking, I know.

Who has one they like? Obviously we're not going to be using it for great film-making, but I would want a good model that gets good low-light performance since I assume we'll be filming indoors often.

I have been researching them for the last hour. As with everything, there is a ton of info out there. But wading through it can be overwhelming when I really just need a decent home use camcorder.

So, thought I'd ask and see who has one at home.

I bought a camcorder last year and there are 3 great sites I used that had everything; reviews, side-by-side feature comparisons, etc.

See how long you can sit in in a closed garage with your car running and all windows down. Make sure you have a full tank of gas and a couple shots of Nyquill first.

Exclusivity usually indicates the rejection or denial of everything else. Then I'd better log out of here pretty fucking quick.

I only think CJ is a shithead on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.

That manner of suicide isn't very pretty...your hands and feet and face usually turn a disturbing shade of red and grey and often you'll swell up. I'll stick to Don's idea of overdose by narcotics.

I bought two last year to put out near some hog traps. I never used them. Both still sitting here in my office, still in the plastic.

I had a jobsite last spring where some of my equipment was getting vandalized at night. I was going to put one of them up to catch the kids that were doing it, but I figured they'd just tear the fucking thing up after the flash went off.

Fuck, I don't even remember what I paid for them. I probably wouldn't sell them. I like to hunt. I just don't happen to be on a lease right now.

And, during Christmas, I plan to buy some land. It is supposed to have some game on it and I'll probably put them out there just to check things out.

You can go to any major sporting good place and buy one. They aren't very expensive. $100 maybe.
