The Twelve Days of an IT Christmas - Flumper Barflusterbutt - 12-07-2005

One the first day of Christmas my Secret Santa sent to me,

Nada.

The Twelve Days of an IT Christmas - Blueeyedwoman - 12-07-2005

Did you send yours out yet?

Yes I did. It went out Monday. I put a "tracking number" on the package because they said for the low, low fee I would be able to track it on its journey to the lucky recipient.

Anyhow, after 24 hours (on December 6th) the website that you track it on said:

Quote:Your item was accepted at 11:09 am on December 05, 2005 in _____, TX_____. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Since then, there has not been one fucking update on where it is. Its the same fucking message. Two and a half days and the message says that it was picked up two and a half days ago.

Probably in a few days, it will have an update that says "package received". Leave it to the US post office to have such state of the art technology. I was expecting hourly updates each time it was transferred to a different truck. Some kind of GPS tracking or a map with a blinking red dot. I wanted to be like that fucking lady sitting at the desk in the middle of the highway that tells the truck they are going the wrong way because "my package told me".

I wonder what they fucking charged me for that shit.

You'll stop melting when your package arrives, I feel sure.

You wouldn't believe how often I get that.

So ... has your package arrived yet?

If you're going to try and cut it here and when you can't get all whiny and leave for another board, then just go ahead, Hoax.
