The first player to catch a McNabb pass was actually Broncos safety
John Lynch -- in the second quarter, when the Eagles were behind 21-0.

The Broncos' Jake Plummer finished 22 of 35 for 309 yards. After a strong first half and a shaky third quarter, Plummer finished the game strong.

Broncos running back Mike Anderson holds off the Philadelphia Eagles' Sheldon Brown as he runs for an 18-yard gain and a first down late in the fourth quarter Sunday.
Anderson rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries, while fellow running back Tatum Bell finished the game with 107 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in a 49-21 victory.

The teamwork of Mike Anderson, left and Tatum Bell amounted to 233 rushing yards and three touchdowns, the last of which was scored by Bell on a 6-yard scamper in the final minute Sunday.
The Broncos became the first team in NFL history to have two 100-yard rushers and a 300-yard passer (Jake Plummer) in a game.

Wide receiver Todd Devoe celebrates his touchdown in the fourth quarter Sunday at Invesco Field at Mile High. After leading 28-0, the Broncos surrendered 21 consecutive points to the Philadelphia Eagles before Devoe's 44-yard scoring catch. Tatum Bell followed with two TD runs, sealing a 49-21 victory for the Broncos, who enter their bye week alone atop the AFC West.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb finds it hard to move with Denver Broncos safety Curome Cox latched onto his legs Sunday at Invesco Field at Mile High. Broncos linebacker Al Wilson was looking to join in on the first-quarter fun, when the Broncos jumped to a 14-0 lead after touchdowns by Mike Anderson and Kyle Johnson. Despite Philadelphia's 49-21 loss, McNabb stayed firmly planted and threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns, but an interception by Domonique Foxworth stopped the Eagles' comeback attempt.

Tatum Bell's 67-yard touchdown sprint was his third run from scrimmage of more than 50 yards this season. In the Shanahan era, the only backs to do that are Terrell Davis and Clinton Portis.
And Bell isn't even the starter.

I just wanted to point it out so that after I get all "Tatum Bell and Mike Anderson" on that ass at the end of the season it will sting even more.

'No-mistake' Jake is no joke
Jake Plummer Here's something you don't hear often: Jake Plummer (309 yards, four TDs) outplayed Donovan McNabb (12-for-34, two interceptions). A few weeks ago that might have sounded like a joke, but Plummer (left), as quarterback of one of the best teams in the AFC, is a serious MVP candidate. He hasn't thrown a pick since Week 2 and has posted a QB rating of 110.0 or better in four of Denver's last six games.
Facing an Eagles defense that shut down LaDainian Tomlinson a week earlier, the Broncos got two 100-yard rushing performances (Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell) and rolled up 564 yards of offense. If not for Manning's heroics last week, this team would be 7-1 and receiving consideration for the title of Best Team Right Now.

He's doing better. He's out of the ICU and stable.
He's actually in a hostpital about 4 blocks from my office. I'd go visit, but I think they wouldn't let me say hi.
