Oook some dept. here are becoming independent companies, it's just a big mess I had to explain them some rules.I was called in reinforcement as the actual team who managed to do that were lunatics/close to nervous breakdown/already cluttered with other tasks (personally I'm close to those three states)

- you need to do an inventory. A PRECISE ONE, the papers you gave were totally fucked up and it's not really a good idea to put "yeah it's almost ok" on the documents. The funniest thing was that the "officially certified" gem inventory who was given to the legals stated around 55k (and some bits) $ and that the last month inventory was around 58k (and bits) $. Some dudette tells me "I don't know, someone should have modified the file" (hell no I have a script on the server who modify the content of the files randomly) It's difficult to keep calm with these people.

- you need to create inventories FOR EACH MONTHS AND NOT CALL ME TO RETRIEVE THE LASTS MONTHS FROM THE BACKUPS. that utterly difficult task is made with saving the file with a different name each time.

- you need to save the files in the correct places and telling me things like "I don't know" or "I don't remember what was the filename" or "I don't even remember something that was written in the file" isn't appropriate for me. Especially if you ask me to find those files for you.

- telling that the dudes, who by pure chance, is in vacations right now, has worked on that and I should ask him isn't a correct thing.

Anyhow this is especially with a dept. full of incompetent monkeys or spooky ones.
