Cable Modem VS. DSL - Flumper Barflusterbutt - 08-26-2005

What do you guys use? I am currently on Cable through Comcast... I have never had problems through 2 - 3 years up until the last few months. My connection is hit and miss... on/off all the time. They are coming today to "fix" it for the 2nd time.

I'm thinking of DSL... I heard once that DSL has better uptime than cable and is a lot more reliable of a connection...

Anyone have an opinion on this matter?

I'm experiencing the opposite at the moment. I have DSL, its been hit and miss the past couple of days.

PS, cable at home, dsl at work. both are fine but dsl is cheaper.....fooking comcast....

Comcast Cable. No real problems. Used Verizon DSL for a while, but I as was the far edge of their range and it was spotty, slow and generally crap.
