Dilemma, public safety convocation. - ntype - 07-25-2005

Just received my convocation for the Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness (in switzerland you do the army every two years until you're 35 or you do the "civilian protection").

Nobody would believe me here if I say that I'm "PI SAUV" (if there is a big catastrophis like flooding, heartquakes, nuclear blasts (they told us that we could receive more radiations than civilians, that's cool :S), chemical attacks and other funny stuff...here I am coming with da team.

Anyway the problem is that they asked me to come for the 15-16th...september.
I already slacked off the convocation of this summer (I was in cancun), they don't really appreciated that (still got to tell them why I didn't came, would be funny to be jailed for that...).

yeah sounds a good idea, and passing a few days drilling holes in debris, putting stuff on fire (there is even a house for those tests) then extinguishing them (but we're far from being firemens), napalm quite impressive results. anyway you see it's quite annoying too with nice lessons on security presprictions on the oxygen lance (?) or usage of funky gazes like "ok this one explodes with a concentration of 2 to 98 % in the atmosphere. so be careful" (don't need to tell that twice when you're manipulating that stuff).

bah.... no anyway it's sounds cool but it's utterly boring, I mean we don't have a lot of bad things happening in switzerland. I mean it's even quite rare.
