Gonna throw down a brisket - Beaucephus - 05-27-2005

This weekend. As I always do on Memorial Day weekend. But I am looking to try something different than my usual recipe. Generally I marinate it overnight in worcestshire sauce then rub it down with Tony's or some other season all before throwing it on for about 8 hours. Anyone got any other suggestions on a good method? discuss.

I rub mine down with spices then let it soak overnight in jack daniels.....add a nice flavor.

Mix a little bit of Coke(the drink fuckers) and Lawrys(Sp?) Seasoning Salt with the worcestshire. Its money.

Damn interesting take. The Jack Daniels sounds righteous as well. I may just have to give her a go.

my seasoning usually consist of season salt, meat tenderizer, and grill mates montreal (sp?) steak seasoning....rub it all in (both sides) let her sit in the fridge overnight in a pan of jack with just a touch of teriaqe (sp?) or worcestshire. I keep the left-over from the pan and brush it on after I've seared both sides of the meat and it's into the slow cook stage.
