Barry Bonds...... Barry Bonds returned to the Bay area on Wednesday to have his surgically repaired right knee evaluated by the doctor who performed the operation

Mark Prior is out indefinitely with inflammation in his right elbow. It's the second straight spring in which he has battled some sort of elbow injury -- he missed the first two months of last season due partially to stiffness in the same joint -- which is quite a concern for a youngster who racked up so many high pitch counts in the first full year of his major-league career.

Glad I dont have either one of these guys....

You should do some more checking.. someone else is hurt. I can't remember who. I know wood is having trouble right?

Wood has been bothered by the same problem as Prior...but here's the latest from the Cubs website...

Chicago Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood threw off the mound Wednesday without any problems while teammate Mark Prior played catch, but was still bothered by a little inflammation in his right elbow.
Wood, who was projected as the Cubs' Opening Day starter, threw about 30 pitches off the mound and threw everything in his arsenal, pitching coach Larry Rothschild said Wednesday.

Update on Bonds.....
Barry Bonds has second operation on right knee, likely will miss opening day

By JANIE McCAULEY, AP Sports Writer
March 17, 2005
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Barry Bonds pushed his surgically repaired right knee so hard that the San Francisco Giants became concerned he might be doing too much. Yet, after 19 major league seasons, the team trusted Bonds knows his body best.

But on Thursday, Bonds underwent a second operation on the knee -- a setback that makes it unlikely the slugger will be ready for opening day.

While the Giants offered no timetable for Bonds' return, it took the seven-time NL MVP more time than expected to recover from the original surgery on the knee on Jan. 31
