My folks used to fry catfish or crappie, hush puppies, french fries and fill up brown paper grocery bags. Every time they dumped a new batch in the bag, in goes another layer of paper towels. Until the bag was full. Grease would just be draining out the sides of the bag. MMMMM

My wife would shit a blue bean if I suggested a meal like that now.
