In Response to the Thanskgiving Day Thread - asshat - 11-22-2004

I am having my father's side of the family all to our house on Thursday. It is a family tradition with us. His side of the family is the fun side. Great partiers and very successful for the most part. It is a long morning of reuiniting, getting lunch ready. About 1:00 we eat. Everyone helps by bringing some traditional part of the meal.

By 2:00 or so the drinking and partying begins. The older family members leave around 4:00 to avoid driving after dark. The rest of the cousins stay until very late. I started hosting it last year and will host until another one of the cousins decides to take it away from me.
