no, that's not quite it.
I'm not interested in rethinking buisiness models, expanded profit potential, etc.
If that was the case, I would throw quality out the window and go for straight quantity.
I'm aware of the trade-off, and I choose what I chose. I choose to build 8 widgets a year for $30K profit each as opposed to 100 widgets/year for $4K profit each.
This practice could be debated 'til the end of time, and every douchebag on the internet could try to tell me what I should be doing. Don't forget to eat the peanuts out of my shit, too.
