That would be about a $285,000 house around here. $95 per square foot for a 10 year old type home. If it needs repairs or upgrades, it can get as low as $80. New custom homes are around $130

$100 a square foot will build a decent tract home. Don't forget the land is worth a lot here too. Also, you will need to landscape it. Permits are going to run you $25K or so.

Depends on the area.We've got so much free space.CA real estate is out of hand.Main line Philly is really pricey.
