I don't get the Perkins mourning thats been going on the last few weeks.He was a good piece of the puzzle but for guys like Rondo to be despondent and let it effect their play is fucking weird.Arent their 3 "legends"* on that team that could exert a veteran calming influence on the team?Weak minded, yo.

I guess basketball is way more dependent on chemistry than anything. I know Chris Paul went full on poutty after they traded Chandler.

Theres a difference between legends like Bird and Hall of Famers like Dennis Rodman.
Shaq is a legend but Shaq is on the Celtics like he was on the Cav's that one year.Not a real Celtic.Paul Pierce is officially not a legend in my eyes.Having a great season but his teams stacked and he's no Wade or D Rose.

I'm tempted to say the Knicks take the Celts to game 7 but something tells me the Knicks have no heart and the Celts are reading the papers about how they are done and will respond.The Celts lose to whomever their 2nd round opponent is.

first round loss wouldn't surprise me at this point. i think ainge's gamble on the perk deal was that perk would be hurt and the oneals would be rested and ready to go. not really turning out that way.

The perkins deal is overrated.Shows how weak mentally doc rivers has those guys.Who's running that team, Rondo?He's the fucking back up center.I see no problems against the Knicks.No defense.
