I love it - it's really neat to watch them learn and grow. I have no patience for working with adults. I am also a massage therapist and I wanted to beat half my clients to a bloody pulp. Whine, whine whine - I am not a therapist!

My daughter is in Pre-K and in our school system, they have 2 full time Pre-K teachers. They are two of the most wonderful people I have ever met in my entire life. They just both have a lot of patience and have fun personalities. I can see how the kids can learn a lot from them. The only thing that bothers me with our education system really is the fact that I don't think teachers are paid nearly enough.

Teachers around here don't make a whole lot (most anyway). The school district that I live in is excellent though. No complaints whatsoever.

We throw money at schools around here, like Cincinnati Public Schools, and their level of functioning is still crap. The district my kids are in is relatively rural- there isn't a whole lot of money- they're making budget cuts all over the place, yet it is still an excellent school district. While I think teachers should be highly compensated because they are teaching our children- I can't say the same for the administration etc.
