Well my son is only 21 months old so far I didn't had any troubles, anyhow I remarked that much of that depends of the kids personality. For example mine isn't really tied to his toys, I mean when you come home the first thing he will do is showing you his best toys and such (well only thing he doesn't want to share is mommySad() at daycare he isn't really annoyed by another kids as when one start being too annoying he just tell him to go away (well it's more a loud "no no").

As for telling kids there are basic rules, the first one, when you talk to a kid you have to lower yourself at his eye level, talk to him eye to eye it's a huge difference.

The bully I would have gone that way : without yelling at him -because that kid got strong and mixed feelings but couldn't express them due to their complexity - so he switched to "bullying" to surge that.

So I would have lowered to his level and explained, eye to eye, in a calm but strong voice that I don't like his behavior and he don't have to act that way because he's doing arm to the other kid.

They are just kids they don't know that they are bullying each others, yes they know, but no they don't realize that they are mean, and well they are kids not retarded so if nobody ever explain them they are never going to realize that (and no the fear of the police is not an end).

you frigged up Cuc's thread, the whole reason I never participate in you discussions. asswipes :fuckYou:

What if I told you that this is the way threads have been here forever?

Ask Cucumber if she gives a flying fuck.

Yup, some great advice in here (thanks!) and lots of swaying off topic.

Oldie, this is the way things go around here. I wouldn't still be here five years later (sigh) if I expected or wanted any different. Nothing is off limits - not kids, not death, nothing. It's all for a good time and if you just settle into the sarcasm and personal attacks, you'll like it here. If this kind of stuff irks you, I'll say what we've all been saying - this place isn't for you. There isnt one good thread in this place that has ever stayed on topic and been "nice" the whole time.

It was really odd because I've been buying produce at this market forever and its always fresh.I cut it open and saw a little black stuff on the inside but thought it was some seeds.I was tending to the other stuff and noticed something moving near the pepper.I pick up the pepper and 4 small spiders where milling about. All the peppers I bought 2 hours before were bad.Sucked because I had all the cut up pepper mixed with the rest of the vegetables so I had a contamination issue.I threw it all out and started over.I'm not going to let one pepper sour me for life and I recommend you don't either.

Another child - Anhil8tor - 02-23-2009

I would have cooked them with the pepper...

more protein.

WTF

Another child - Banana - 02-23-2009

I was in line at a grocery store once and a grub crawled out of a head of lettuce as the cashier was weighing it. She screamed, the customer screamed and I jumped. The costumer refused to take the lettuce and the cashier refused to touch it, so that meant me waiting 5 minutes while they got the "produce guy" to come clear it up for them. Ugh.

Another child - BIRD33 - 02-23-2009

You've come a long way, ladies.

Another child - Pickle - 02-24-2009

I won't buy heads of lettuce ever again - last time I did I pulled off the top leaf and about a million tiny bugs were milling around inside the entire head of lettuce. BARF.
