I think that a fully democrat government would be the best thing to happen to the Republicans in a while.
Think 1976 all over again.

That's pretty much where I am at right now. I love you.

I can understand how Texas is important for the Dems, but I find it kind of funny that Hillary is already down there 3 weeks away from the primary. It kind of makes her look like nothing is important to her but getting nods in big states (like I said all along).
I give Obama credit for spending time in as many states as possible. That should show some potential voters what he's all about.
I've read that if Hillary doesn't win Texas and Ohio, she's done. She pretty much has to win decidedly to have a chance at the nod.

Well, I don't think that is necessarily the case. But, it would be a huge blow to her strategy and that alone could begin the tumble. Right now she has to worry about contributions. She's sucking bad gas on raising money, and courting the Latino vote isn't likely to be much source of income in the way she is used to raising money. I love you.

I think Barack gets Ohio and Wisconsin...Hillary gets Texas, thats it, and by a close margin. I love how Hillary is telling how people should be voting...you can sense how nervous she is, getting very, very negative lately. Take a guess on how much money I've donated to Obama's campaign so far?

See, this is what I have not had answered yet. So far all I see are slogans and no substance. What is your plan? What do you intend to do?

How much have you watched? He's outlined a bit on his health care plan, today he introduced his plan to boost nation wide employment, and I think his idea for foreign policy is a very refreshing and bold move...

Since Jan. 5th I've donated 300 bucks and I'll probably continue until he gets the nod.

I have seen enough to make me realize that I have not found a "there" there. He talks of rolling back tax cuts to help pay for his healthcare plan, but as far as I can tell, he is going to need to do a lot more than that, unless we just want shitty health care. He and McCain both talk about preventative medicine as well, how healthy people will lower costs. Not so according to the latest studies. It actually INCREASES long term costs because people live longer.
What is he going to do about Social Security?
What is his plan for getting troops out of Iraq?
His foreign policy is to commence talks with nations we currently don't talk with. Ever think there was a bigger reason we don't talk to them? I am guessing there is. Probably a number of them.
Like I said earlier. I like change. But I need an idea of what the change is going to be. I am not attracted by pithy campaign slogans and inspiring orators with no substance to speak of. I need more info. Thankfully the real campaign is going to require it from both candidates.

His ads (so far) in Texas are mainly dealing with Health Care. But again, no real susbstance. Talks about how his mother had health problems and struggled with the system. Talks about how you can't solve health care until you clean up the legal problems and special interest groups. Basically says that you can't fix health care until you fix washington. All in all, nothing. I love you.

What is he going to do about Social Security?
What is his plan for getting troops out of Iraq? Draw down troops, hand over control to the iraqi's, focus on bin laden

I undertand your point about people dying faster not being a good policy, however, don't sell me a bill of goods. You are lying to me about the savings.
I am fairly certain our plan for withdrawl is currently the same, short of the focusing on Bin Laden. Problem seems to be with step 2. The Iraqi's are not quite ready to take control.
I would need to find some historical perspective on the foreign policy issue. We have had the same policy for a long time (including your hero Bill).

I know that my industry is making a killing off of overweight people and my profits just add to health care costs.
Werent we talking to North Korea during Clintons term and got them to stop producing nukes? As I recall when GWB took his hard line approach they doubled their arsenal. He then went back to Clintons strategy and they stopped again.

I am fairly certain that they both had failed policies. One called it a "Freeze" the other calls it disablement. Both failed. I can find any number of articles touting successes or failures of either of them.
THe short version is that neither of them worked. Lil' Kim will do whatever his crazy ass wants to.
