Dude, the first killing (in the dorm) was just the guy's girlfriend and the RA for the dorm. He killed two people and then left the dorm.

Two hours later he showed up in another building, classroom building, and went from classroom to classroom killing anyone he could get a shot at. He killed 30 people in that building before he killed himself.

Some people were barricaded in classrooms, holding the doors shut as he tried to push his way in. He even shot through some of the doors trying to get in. Other rooms, he just walked in and started shooting.

I think its kind of hard to blame people for not stepping up when the guy was walking into classrooms with two handguns and shooting people in the head point blank.I'm sure you would have stepped up.

The guy shot his girl and someone else at 7:30 AM and didnt start killing the rest till 9:30 AM. The cops thought he fled the scene and told kids to still go to class.That guy must have been hiding somewhere for a while and realized he was going to get either life in jail or a death sentence and just said fuck it I'm taking as many as I can with me.The cops really fucked up.

It was kind of strange. They interviewed the paramedics that transported the first two bodies. I sort of got the feeling that they didn't even realize what they had. They said their job was only to stop the bleeding, clear the airway, etc.... Don't even know if they knew it was a shooting from what they said.

The police fucked this up big time though, in hindsight.

Oh, and the RA was a black dude. He was probably the only hero mentioned last night. Evidently, he heard the two arguing and went to help the girl out. He got shot trying to stop the guy from shooting her.

One of the guns was a friggin .22 pistol. A .22 pistol wouldn't puncture through a trash can. I'd bet you could take 10 hits with a .22 and never stop coming. One kid they interviewed last night had been shot in the arm with a .22 bullet and didn't even know he was shot until after it was over.

I'll kiss your ass if the next round of stories that come out of there aren't about some guys that stepped up and mounted a charge on the guy. I can't imagine out of all of those people that someone didn't try it.

He was shooting people in the forehead.I'm no gun expert but could a .22 kill someone at point blank range?Balance that with the fact he had a much larger gun in his other hand.I bet out of the 30 who died some where trying to stop him but I don't blame anyone for jumping out the window.

A couple of weeks ago a buddy of mines poker game got robbed. They started playing every tuesday night on a trailer he had moved on some property he owned. They played high stakes poker and invited me out there.

Me being a low stakes poker player decided against going. Well apperntly they mentioned how much they played for to too many people. Two tuesdays ago it got robbed. While playing the front door busted open to a guy in a ski mask and 9MM. He started demanding money from all the players and two more guys with masks and 9MM came in.

They took all the money off the table which ended up being about 14K.... and started asking for phones, wallets etc etc. While doing that one of the guys' gun went off in the trailer and they took off running. The guys missed the kitty on the floor that was holding about 20K....

Police lifted a few finger prints off the cell phone that was dropped.....


There was 9 people there. 8 were playing poker.. 1 was cooking.

its only illegal if the house takes a cut here. We play every monday and have had cops pass by on more than one occasion. They frown if you play them at bars or places like that.

Really?So its not illegal at all to play for that much cash without some type of gambling license?Its not legal at all up here, if a game gets robbed everybody just goes home.

From what I understand, the school administration was also pretty slow in dealing with the situation.

I heard on the radio this morning that someone called the information line asking if classes were canceled or anything...I guess the guy was told that they weren't canceled but to "proceed with caution" or something...

I guarantee a bunch of folks get fired/resign over this.
