err me no doctor but it's first time I ever heard that you have "temporary diabete" (ok maybe after eating you weight of candy).

did the doctor you saw was a real doctor ? I mean complete with an office, diploma on the wall and the usual accessories ???

gestational diabetes - is the real name for it, and it does only last through the preggo stage.

Ok this is how the story goes. Recently I had pancreatitis which is usually linked with diabetes. The doctors told me this might be a temporary thing due to the pancreatitis and wont know for sure until my pancreas fully heals. Which can be anywhere from 6months to a year.

Dingo
