Hey Greg, is he going to step up to the plate and be there???? Or how does he feel about it? if you don't mind my asking. If it were my son I would lay it on his ass that kiddy time is OVER. He and the girl just stepped into the realm of responsible parenthood. I hope he is up to the task. Good luck.

Humans need to reproduce, it is a basic drive of the human animal. It seems since you are about to be awarded the honored earth title of 'grandparent', you should be proud, you have achieve your objective.
You may now retire.

why would he want to date a girl that's pregnant? Didn't he know before they went out?

Just go with the flow since there is nothing you can really do about it. Who knows you might enjoy grandparenthood.

I was wondering if someone was going to mention this. Nowhere in your original post does it mention whether or not it's his kid. B)
If it is Congratulations Grandpa Greg. You can tell the kids to call you "GG" in a pathetic attempt to stay "cool". Forget it man, You're OLD!!

Greg... I can only imagine the sinking feeling you have. Since he is your son I know he will take care of her and her baby... MAKE SURE HE DOES!
I had my first child at 30 so I can't imagine what it would be like to be that young having a kid but I tell you this, there are a lot of organizations out there to help these children become great parents.
Have faith in your son and his girlfriend. Be there and supportive to BOTH of them because you have NO idea what she may be experiencing on her side of this. If one of my daughters came home pregnant I would make sure they got emotional support, medical care and a lecture on how life IS going to change and it was based on THEIR choice of using no birth control.
In all honesty, I prefer... PawPaw or Papa Greg. In know it's got to be a freaking tough thing to swallow right now, it'll soak in and you'll be the best support they have! Don't distance yourself and make sure that the other parents involved with your child and his girlfriend are just as supportive.
I'm here for you!

I am logical,
not perfect.
I must say, your accusation is most unusual coming from someone who "sux and is gax" if your fellow poster Sassy is to be believed.

Do you mean your name is logical [he or she]not [he or she]perfect. No one ever mentioned that to me before. B)
