I missed the game last night. 8.2 had tryouts for city league ball and i'm an assistant coach. Let me ask you this bird... 8.2 is 7 (league is 7 & 8)... would it be poor sportsmanship to teach him the duke floor slap?

Last night was a let down game for Duke.Ohio state was ready to play on their home floor, Duke was not.Thats a problem with young teams(Clay thinks they are old somehow).Having every team you play treat it like the Super Bowl when you come to town because you are the greatest college basketball program of the last 25 years is a big adjustment for 18 and 19 year olds.Also they are having a problem generating an offense when the 3's arent falling.A lot of standing around and watching while subzero Rivers tries to take a guy one on one.Their low post game is non existent unless its another stiff white guy covering Plumlee.This team needs time to create an identity.Subzero needs to learn to play within this offense.We will not be playing weak coached teams like KU every night.

I would let the kid do it but you also need to do it on the sidelines like wojo does during games.
