I jog some too but a lot of the path is pretty dangerous to jog. Large rocks and tree roots.

It's been 90 degrees the last two days. I have to take 2 liters of water and a coke.

If it's fruit juice or a cola the calories are pretty much the same. Might as well drink something that tastes good. When you're burning off that many calories you can pretty much eat anything you want.

There are 8 monuments there to brigade commanders that died there. The monuments are 10 feet high made from 8" naval cannon balls and are on the spot where they died or were mortally wounded.

This one is for Benjamin Helm. He was Abraham Lincoln's brother-in-law. When news reached Washington it is said that Lincoln took the news worse than when his own son died. He kept in touch with Helm even during the war.

What strange is he was a Confederate general.
