i'm not here to lay out the health care plan.I just wonder how you reconcile the longer life expectancy in canada along with the lower costs they pay and not be curious as to if we can do the same thing.Its just a fact, plus we already pay for uninsured peoples medical bills but get gouged for it.My works premiums have gone up every year for at least 5 years straight.

yeah, and I didn't agree with it when it happened. those kinds of things are incredibly personal decisions and I can't imagine why anyone would want the government to have any sort of say in that at all.
or say you're 40, 50, 60 years old and have cancer...do you want the government deciding what kind of treatment you get?
if you're paying for some fat ass's health care, do you want the tubby bastard eating 3 big macs at lunch, then chain smoking for the rest of the day? when will the government start protecting their investment by regulating what you are and are not allowed to eat?

You will have the option to keep your own insurance which would enable you to choose your cancer treatments if the insurance company lets you.This is not the end of health insurance companies.
We are paying for the fat asses health care anyway right now.There is no other way around it.Be pissed all you want but its not the real issue.People not being able to take their kid to the doctor or having their life savings depleted because their insurance company dropped them is and its immoral to leave health care the way it is.
Did you see how they are proposing taxing soda and other junk food?I think its a good idea but I was watching tv the other day and there was this ad most likely by the makers of junk food talking about how in these hard economic times the last thing we need is a tax on simple pleasures like soda.It was funny because the only people who would believe that drink 8 cans of coke a day and will probably have diabetes by the time they are 40.

The 787 billion stimulus has done nothing to stimulate the economy.
All of our allies are getting out of Afghanistan. Obama is sending more troops. This is his war now. How long will we be in Afghanistan? How many troops will it take to stabilize their government?
Iran is starting a nuclear program. Israel is the only country talking about stopping them.
