Equating boob job with a hair cut is like apples to oranges. A hair cut costs $50 and takes 30 minutes. A boob job costs thousands and is surgical alteration of your body. Almost everyone gets their hair cut. Not true of boob jobs.

I suspect this friend got it done because her boyfriend is a few years younger and well toned, while she has had two kids. Still, I think she looked great before. Ultimately, this is low self esteem.

A woman could get them for her husband.Thats not selfish.

Its no different then spending 10 G's on dental work for a better looking smile.If the person is doing it to make themselves feel better about their self image it not 100% about what other people think.

Yeah, well, that makes sense if she asked when I saw her. She asked in an email.

I was nice. "They look great in a bikini. do you like them?" and when she said she was enjoying them, I said "good for you. That's all that matters! " I didn't tell her she looked nice before, but she really did. I think the reason I don't like fake boobs is because they look fake. Her breasts were smallish, but nice before. Now, they look clearly fake. I prefer natural looking, I guess.

Come on theres a little bitterness there.Maybe not about the boob job totally but everything involving this chick must involve some bitter feelings for valid reasons.
