I read in the paper about a guy who hit his head on a curb but didnt get knocked out and died the next day after everything seemed normal.

Fuck, it's hard to have any sort of conversation when everything is boiled down to Bird terms - black or white.
All I am saying is that it didn't seem like she had a very severe head injury based on the criteria to assess head injury. S'all. I am making a grand assumption based on what I know about head injury that if she hit her head hard, she would have signs of head injury. She did not.

Oh, it's entirely likely her brain was knocked around. That happens even with mild head strikes. But, you usually don't die. :|But baby brains are mushier than adult brains. Due to high water content.

Actually, I heard the story last night on Nightline. And I did recognize who she was. I didn't know her mom was Vanessa Redgrave, but I knew she was married to Leam Neisson (sp?). I probably only remember her in the movie "Nell".
