It surely seems like a strange way to gain power in a democracy.

I've read more than once today that it would be political suicide for the Liberals if they pull it off.

The Governor General is usual only a symbolic figure. She's the representative of the Queen, who no longer has any say in anything. However, when it comes to disputes over power in parliament, she calls the shots.
The liberals have already commited political suicide, so this would just be the nail in the coffin, and it would ensure a future majority for the Conservatives, more than likely.

Do you need a hug? Get over yourself. It's not ALL THE TIME. It's not even much of the time. However, yes, there are times when women fake it. There are a variety of reasons that "you" don't do it for us at that particular time, and we don't want to hurt your feelings.
We get it. You think you are an uber stud, and chances are, you are. Happy? We're not sleeping with duds. Women not getting off when they are with men only sometimes has to do with the sex itself. What makes you so damn sure women don't fake? Blind ignorance is my guess.

Well, we don't. Not all of us anyways. Infact I have never faked - I have faked my enjoyment level, but if it's not happening, I am honest.
Usually when it doesn't happen, it's my own doing for whatever reason. Only about 1% of the time is it because the actual sex isn't doing it for me.

I'm still missing why the liberals think this needs to be done.Is there some type of crisis or scandal that makes them think they need to overturn the will of the people?Why the vote of no confidence so quickly after the election?
Your politics seem to mirror ours in certain ways so I'm surprised theres not one liberal voice up there that can galvanize support like say an a Obama has.I kind of understand why there are 3 liberal parties rather than one big one but isnt there some rising star of one of those parties that can bring them all together?

Because they all have their different Agendas - and this is more to turn over the Conservatives, than to unite. The Bloc Quebecois is ONLY a party in Quebec, the rest of the country cannot vote for them. The NDP and Liberals are both Leftist parties, but they are too far apart to even consider them as one in the same. NDP is more of a socialist party, where as the liberals are just idiots, plain and simple.
The conservatives apparently Used tax-payers money to support their campaign run and that is a huge, huge no-no. This is the initial issue that brought up this whole debacle.

We don't elect leaders, we elect political parties. And we do not have equal representation from each province. It makes it very difficult to get the majority of people to listen to one voice.

Infact, if Quebec and Ontario all voted Conservative, and the rest of the country Voted Liberal - Conservatives would win a majority government. Those two provinces alone have enough seats that the rest of the country means squat.
