Miken is no doubt one of the best bats out there.
I bought a Demarini myself though, I could never justify spending upwards of $200 on a bat. Someone else on my team will do that, and I'll just use theirs.

I bought the bat with team money. Great deal for me.
We've now played four games. A single last week that was almost snowed out but luckily the fields were dry enough to slug out a loppy game. We lost 24-22 but we had a furious 10 run rally in the 9th that fell just short. The new bat worked fairly well but lacks the pop some of our older bats have. Time will tell on this one. I was 2 for 4 with 2 singles a pop-up and an ugly line out to short.
Yesterday was our best day yet. Felt like 30 degrees for our first double header. I played horribly at the plate going 3 for 8. I never played any ball before I joined this team and most teams just lob the ball but their pitcher was winging them super fast. 4 pop-ups and a line out to centre. I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board with my batting. However in the first game I was 0-3 going into the last inning. We were tied in the bottom of the ninth with two out and me up. I knocked my fiorst single of the day and scored the winning run when the next batter hit a single and I scored from first. I guess I'm clutch.

We joined a mens league for thursday nights.Fuck the bitches.I've moved to first because I have the best hands on the team.Played lights out there.No errors and a couple of pure t stabs when the ball was hit at me.Went 1 for 3 at the plate with an RBI.I figured out quick that because the games start around 9:30 or 10 the ump is not going to be giving out a lot of walks.We have a awesome infield and we basically shut them down after the 3rd inning.Finals score was 7 to 4.

Oh it was.Digging ankle high balls while stretched all the way out in text book fashion was an impressive site.Not to mention shutting down the lefthanders.Have I told you lately that I'm $$$?

I didnt notice this at the time.Snarg has such a hard on for me that he can't even keep his senses enough to post his love notes to me in the right thread.
Anyway big game tonight against the second best team in our league.We find out how good we are.It might rain so it might not get played.

We're on Ark stand-by here. Baseball was played on Sunday but my team would have preferred it wasn't as we got royally stomped. I was 3 for 8 in my worst showing at the plate ever. 1 pop-up and 4 ground-outs. Just couldn't get the ball going anywhere. I batted better left than right which is unusual. I also broke the advertising sign (NAPA) in centre field which would have been a lot cooler if I'd caught the ball. Had NAPA blue paint all over my arm.

If the fields just a little wet they won't let us play.If you do a search on my softball league half the results are public filings of lawsuits of people who sued the league for insurance after they got hurt.

We got trounced.Trounced.
16-4.I went 1 for 3 again with a double and 1 RBI.Played a good first.Had a sweet scoop and flip off a guy who hit a dribbler left of the mound.Overall my team sucked at the plate.Our best hitter who's a good for 2 or three home runs a game went 0-3.We are cutting some of our players,the guy who manages the team picked up two losers he drinks with.I told him this isnt a charity and I and a few others will quit.The team we played went to the finals so I guess we were overmatched anyway but we had a piss poor showing either way.It got to the point where they hit so many homeruns that a rule went into effect where every homerun after a certain number was an out.So we ended an inning by having a ball jacked over the fence.Great.We have a double header next week against teams more our speed so we are looking to get things rolling.I need to hit better.I feel lost at the plate right now.

Sunday we got beat 11-4 in my coed league.2-3 with two runs scored.We never were in it.We were shorthanded so they had me in center and a bunch of losers in the infield. I made a sweet bobbling catch on a blooper over second and had the guy on second fooled and he started for 3rd.I bare handed the ball in the air and gunned it to second for the double play but the bitch playing second dropped it.I'm pretty much done with the coed league so all my focus is on our thursday night mens league.
We have a double header tommorow night.First team has 39 more runs than us at this point and has the same amount of doubles as we have runs.The second team we should be able to beat.
I suffered a serious ankle sprain last night at basketball that I ended up playing through because I'm a fucking gamer.I woke up this morning in serious pain and had to crawl to the bathroom.I can't put any weight on it so my status for tomorrow is questionable.

Lost the Thursday night game.I was on pain killers and loopy.Went 1 for 3.Lost 16-4.We sucked.
Sunday doubleheader went better.We didnt have our biggest hitter so we had to pick up a guy who turned out to be a stud.I played lights out in the field per usual.Game tied 3-3 in the top of the last inning, one out.Two ducks on the pond when one BIRD33 steps to the plate.Takes the first pitch for a strike.Second pitch comes in chest high and I rip it to right for a two RBI game winning double.3-4, two doubles, 1 run, two RBI's.
Second game we jumped all ove the team.Ended up beating them 9-3.Wasnt even really a contest which was suprising because we were shorthanded and had to play with 9 in the field and take an automatic out.We played great defense.Good sign considering the team we beat won the league in the spring.1-3, one run scored, Ozzie Smith type defense.

Our Thursaday night game was a joke.We lost to a team we already beat 10-6.I'm in the worst hitting slump of my life 1-3.We play the worst team in the league this Thursday and I'm looking to take my frustrations out on them.They have been mercy ruled every game so we should beat them by 15.
Sunday we jumped all over a team scoring 8 in the first but then slowly leaked oil the rest of the game.Our pitcher walked 3 straight chicks to turn their order over and enabling them to plate 9 in one inning.We lost 10-12.Batted a little better 2-4, one double.I had the sweetest bare hand assist at second after the ball glanced off the pitchers glove.Our pitcher came into the dugout after letting up all those walks and had the balls to complain about our hitting.I just said how bout you not get nervous when women are at the plate so we don't walk their worst hitters to get to the meat of their order.He shut the fuck up.
