Flumper Barflusterbutt Wrote:You know other than being the reason that Earp went on a killing spree and had to get out of being a lawman, the OK Corral scene wasn't much of a highpoint of this movie.
This movie was much more of a documentary about his whole life. That gunfight changed his life because after that he wouldn't rest until he hunted down four or five of the guys that killed his brother.
which is what made it a good movie.

Flumper Barflusterbutt Wrote:I loved tombstone. But I was totally impressed with Costner as Wyatt Earp. That scene where he first met Doc Holliday and he stared him down and never flinched.
I just can't ever get the Computer that Wore Tennis Shoes image off of that other guy. It would be like watching Gomer Pyle try to play Patton or something.
Costner has had some really great acting moments. I like his sports themed movies best, but he does do some decent western acting as well. I have not watched that as many times, I will give it another look.

"You gonna skin that smoke wagon, or just stand there and bleed?"
"No need to go heeled to get the bulge on a tub like you."
Doc didn't say these lines in
Tombstone. Thanks.

hey the idea that you could create a country just setting up a postal service is great. Wonder why they didn't made that in Irak...look they would just have needed a mule or two and a bunch of kids...
