indirectly yes. Iran is a member of OPEC.
When you say we support these countries it gets confusing because we have been know to "loan" equipment and such to these countries and train them how to use it.

As well as guns and other "equipment". Thats why I say, things are already a shitstorm over there dude. Have been for a while. The funny thing is no one really took them serious til the word nuclear entered the picture.

To the best of my knowledge we have never equiped or trained Iran.
